Cutting our losses:
Cut your losses is a term used to find meaning and value in termination. It is not about seeing what you lost, but what you were able to keep because you terminated. It must be understood that moving away from the monetary system will invoke fear in those who have abused the monetary system, financially cheated, taken the financial short-cuts at the expense of others and the environment.
To be able to move forward, we must be able to forgive. We must accept that the negative effects brought on by misuse of the financial system, or to gain from the financial system, or as a means to decrease one’s costs in the financial system, is all but parts of the construct of the financial system. To appreciate the idea fully, it is easier to see the financial system in terms of a game. If the punishments for cheating are of a financial nature, then it is only a matter of costs versus savings. As in some board games – some get very rich, and others lose everything. It is time to start a new game – at which time the jail cards are returned to the deck.
It cannot be demanded as a term for instigating Solidarism, but it is strongly recommended that physical and legal persons (corporations etc) are fully pardoned from all environmental pollution and financial misconduct. The main argument is, if we do not pardon, then where is the incentive for these entities to make good on what they have done wrong, why disclose environmental wrong doings.? Instead, it is recommended that upon enrolment, entities are offered full nonaccountability for full disclosure.
