How to practically move over to a non-monetary society:
Below, I will describe the system outline of Solidarism. The mere consideration of moving from a capitalistic economic system to a non-monetary system must be based on substantial consideration, and not be carried out on a whim.
Leaving a system to which humanity has made itself dependent upon for generations will undoubtedly be experienced as frightening to most. It is the movement towards the unknown which often causes the greatest feeling of insecurity. It will be imperative that this be conducted in a soft transfer. To move billions of people away from the monetary system overnight would cause chaos on a monumental scale.
The initial transfer needs to be conducted in small steps. These initial steps shall also be the source of necessary information regarding any potentially negative consequences so that they may be countered. Even though many aspects of this type of move can be foreseen thru simple surveys and thought experimentation - it must still be respected that a transition of this magnitude has never been attempted in any modern civilisation. As such, the ultimate outcome cannot be considered as known or completely foreseen. With the possibility of the consequences from a massive failure being not less than severe – it should be provided the necessary timeframe. Though moving too slow is not recommended either.
